WATERBERG PLATEAU NATIONAL PARK
The park is 50 km long and 16 km wide; it is 150 m above the level of the plain.
With an amundance of springs, the park houses a luxurious vegetation and is the refuge of many endangered species: black and white rhinos, buffalos, leopards and cheetahs are frequently seen as well as 200 bird species, such as the Cap vulture and black eagle.
