A high quality camp situated in an exceptional area. His small capacity to welcome 18 people and the professionalism of its staff make it a remarkable stopover. Moreover, 85% of guests who stay two nights have the opportunity to observe the rare elephants of the desert.
It is located on the northern face of the Huab River Valley and looking south toward the imposing Brandberg Mountains, Damaraland Camp offers its guests endless vistas.
It has 10 tented rooms each with an en-suite bathroom including flush toilet and shower with hot and cold running water. All tents have valley views and each has en suite facilities and a covered veranda. The main living area made from local rock and canvas combines the dining room, lounge, curio shop and bar. A feature of the camp is a stunning rock plunge pool tucked away in a mini gorge behind the camp. Dinner can be enjoyed beside a roaring fire in an open air “kraal” under a billion stars.
The stone living area combines the dining room and pub and an open fire is enjoyed on calm evenings. There is a swimming pool next to the bar. A laundry service is also offered.
