Anib Lodge in Mariental, is located approximately 250 km south of Windhoek in the midst of the red sand dunes of the Kalahari in eastern Namibia, the lodge seems like a plush green oasis. It offers 8 rooms, air-conditioning and outstanding hospitality. The lovely green gardens around the house and swimming pool offer a fantastic ambience. Game drives offer the opportunity to view the different landscapes of the Kalahari, as well as nature walks and bird watching. Camping is now also available at Anib Lodge.

There are 36 well-appointed rooms for tour groups, with a private veranda opening onto the courtyard. For individual guests 19 rooms are available in chalets which are slightly set apart and afford views of the savannah scenery – there is also a separate swimming pool. In the Gondwana Kalahari Park, an area of 100 km², will leave you with unforgettable impressions of the largest continuous stretch of sand on earth. Game viewing of animals like Springbok, Gemsbok and Ostrich as well as Jackal, Hare and Porcupine inhabit the dunes and dune valleys. Take pictures of the Kori bustard, the largest flying bird of all, and of huge colonies of weaver birds’ nests taking up whole trees orr just relax in the shade of palm trees at the swimming pool.
