Travel to Namibia

WINDHOEK

1700 m high, in the middle of Khomas Hochland Moutains, Windhoek is a modest capital city (200.000 inhab). Its tranquility, impeccable upkeep, modernity of infractructure, gardens and German style architecture inherited from the colonisation, create unusual combination.

In the northen part of the town, the Katutura township provides a contrast. It is still the place where the majority of the black population lives. It reminds us that Namibia was a South African colony and has lived for decades under the politics of apartheid.
